Prompt users to enter their Employee ID when signing in.
At Google Admin https://admin.google.com, click Users or Manage.
Then click the user’s name. Make sure not to check the box on the left; just click the name.
Click the Security section.
Click Login challenge, then click the TURN OFF FOR 10 MINS button.
This removes the verification step temporarily, and you can sign in during the next 10 minutes without running into it.
If necessary, you can update the user’s phone number by going to https://myaccount.google.com/signinoptions/rescuephone and https://myaccount.google.com/phone
