The Admin console’s Tasks feature shows you information about specific admin-initiated operations. They usually involve uploading, downloading, and scanning information – examples of such processes are:

  • Uploading and downloading users’ account info

  • Uploading and downloading devices info
  • Uploading Calendar buildings, features, and resources
  • Downloading audit logs and reports

Cancel an ongoing Google Admin task

  • Once started, you can’t cancel a task.

Google Admin tasks information retention
