Allow or Disable Installing iOS Apps From Unusual Sources
Control if users can trust apps they install from outside the Apple App Store or the Google Device Policy app.
You control whether users can trust apps they install from outside the Apple App Store and the Google Device Policy app or not.
In Google Admin at https://admin.google.com, click Devices > Mobile & endpoints > Settings > iOS settings in the menu on the left.
Select Data sharing.
Select Trust app authors.
Uncheck the box to prevent users from trusting other app authors.
If you decide to allow users to trust apps from unknown sources, they see a notification that the app’s author isn’t trusted on the device when they first open an app from an unknown source. They can establish trust for the app author in their device settings.
If users trust an author, they can install other apps from the same author and open them immediately. Any app authors a user trusts before you apply this setting to their device remain trusted.
Click SAVE after any updates. Changes to the setting may take up to 24 hours.
