What iOS app settings can you manage

At any time, you can update a managed iOS app’s settings:

Making it managed or unmanaged
Enabling or disabling the app for specific organizational units
Selecting if the app should be removed when the managed configuration profile is removed

How to update managed iOS apps settings in Google Workspace step-by-step with images

Step 1

In Google Admin at https://admin.google.com, click Apps > Web and mobile apps.

Step 2

Click the name of an app in the list.

Step 3

There are two sections here: User access and Settings.

Step 4

The User access section lets you control which Organizational Units listed on the left side of the screen have access to the app.

For example, to prevent users in a specific OU from using a managed app, select that OU, then update this setting to OFF and click SAVE.

Step 5

In the Settings section, you can update whether you want this app to be managed or not and whether to remove it when a user’s managed configuration profile is removed.
