Google Workspace Mobile Management Settings
Enable or disable mobile management, which allows you to apply admin settings to mobile phones and tablets.
You can prevent users on computers and laptops, Android, or iOS devices from accessing Google Workspace account data without admin approval.
In Google Admin at https://admin.google.com, click Devices > Mobile & endpoints > Settings > Universal settings in the menu on the left.
Select Security.
Click Device approvals.
Check the box Require admin approval and specify the email address that will receive approval requests.
Click SAVE. It may take up to 24 hours before the setting starts working.
From now on, when someone tries adding their Google Workspace account to a mobile device, they’ll get a message that the domain admin must approve them, as shown step by step below.
In Google Admin at https://admin.google.com, click Devices > Mobile & endpoints > Device approvals in the menu on the left.
You will see a list of devices pending approval.
Check the box to the left of a device to select it and then above the devices list, click the three dots on the top right and choose APPROVE DEVICES to allow the device to have a Google Workspace profile synced, or DELETE DEVICES to reject the request.
You can also click Email Users to send an email message to the person trying to sync.
Click Block Devices to prevent devices from syncing while still keeping them in your devices listed as Blocked.

Stop a device’s sync and prevent it from re-syncing.
Require approval by an admin when user accounts are added to mobile devices and tables before they can access data.
Wipe a device’s Google Workspace data. Personal data remains on the device.
Require data encryption on devices so that devices need to be unlocked for anyone to access data.
Block Android or iOS devices from syncing managed account data when there are indications that they may be compromised or jailbroken.
Control if users are allowed to use the camera on their device. On devices with a work profile, users can still access the camera through personal apps.
Control if users can use Google Assistant with their managed account on their device.
