What is the Devices list

  • The Devices list lets you see all devices managed via the Admin console’s mobile management settings. 
  • You can search, view info, allow sync, block, wipe and delete devices.

What devices appear in the Devices list

  • If you don’t use mobile management but allow mobile sync, you can see devices that use Google Sync, such as Microsoft or Apple devices with user accounts added with the‘Exchange’ option.
  • You can also see devices previously managed with Google mobile management that no longer have any policies applied. 
  • Unmanaged devices without the Device Policy app and ones that only use POP/IMAP don’t appear in the Admin console.

In Google Admin at https://admin.google.com, click the Devices icon.

Select Mobile devices.

Now you can view a list of devices syncing with Google Workspace accounts in the domain.

You can see a number of columns, such as Device ID, Name (of the user that synced), Email, Model, OS, Type, Last Sync, and Status. Click the gear icon to the right, Manage columns.

Then click Add new column to add info to the Devices list, or click the X to the right of one to remove it. Click SAVE after any changes.

You can also search for devices using the bar above the devices list. Make use of the filters by clicking + Add a filter.

Then you can choose how to search for devices – by last sync date, OS, model, serial number, etc. to narrow down the search scope.
