Allow or Prevent Users From Factory Resetting Android Devices
Control if users can completely reset their Android device, reverting all settings to the factory defaults and erasing all apps.
You can allow or prevent users from changing the date and time on their Android devices.
In Google Admin at https://admin.google.com, click Devices > Mobile & endpoints > Settings > Android settings in the menu on the left.
Select Device Features.
Click Edit time.
Check Allow user to edit the date and time to grant users control and and click SAVE.
Changes may take up to 24 hours to take effect on mobile devices.
Control if users can completely reset their Android device, reverting all settings to the factory defaults and erasing all apps.
Only allow specified admin accounts to access a device after a reset to the factory settings.
Control if users can restart their devices in safe mode, where the device runs only standard, pre-installed apps and disables all third-party apps.
Require a PIN when users try to reset the phone or change Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings.
Control if users can access mobile data services outside the mobile carrier’s operating area while using the device.
Control if users can set the date and time on their devices.
Control if users can move apps and data to SD cards connected to their devices.
Control if users can use the microphone on their devices.
Control if users can use the speakers on their devices.
Control if users can modify certificate authority (CA) forms for their work profiles.
