How to start a poll in a Google Meet session step-by-step with images

Step 1

While in a meeting in Google Meet at https://meet.google.com, click the Activities icon at the bottom right.

Step 2

Select Polls.

Step 3

Click Start a poll.

Step 4

Type the question, then add options and click Launch to start the poll.

Alternatively, you can click Save and start it later.

Step 5

The poll is now Live. You can choose whether to show everyone the results or not.

Meeting participants get a notification to let them know that you started a poll.

They can see it and vote by clicking the Activities icon at the bottom right.

Step 7

Delete a poll or start a new one

You can delete or end a poll or create a new one at any time.
