Go to Groups at https://groups.google.com and find the group in one of the directories listed on the left: My groups, Recent groups, All groups, or Favorite groups. Then click the group’s name.

Click the New conversation button on the top left.

A Compose window similar to the one in Gmail shows up. When you’re ready, click Post message.

Other group members can now see your post in the group and click it to reply.
