  • A workspace can contain up to 25 files – even ones from multiple different folders.

What happens when you delete a Google Drive workspace

  • When you remove a workspace, it gets permanently deleted.
  • Still, the files remain in their original location in My Drive / Shared Drives / Shared With Me.

Go to Google Drive at and click Priority on the left.

You can click the little arrow to the right of its name to Rename it, Hide it, or Remove it.

Hidden workspaces appear under the Hidden workspaces section at the bottom of the page.
