View files and folders other people have shared with you.
Each file and folder in your Google Drive has a general link sharing level, which determines:
A link is a text or image that you can click to go to a web address (URL) in your browser. You can send links to others so that they can access your Google Drive items.
You can see the item’s web address (also known as URL) in the bar on top of your browser.
Follow the steps below to generate a link for one of your files or folders and set up the link sharing access level.
Go to Google Drive at https://drive.google.com and right-click a file or folder, then select Get link.
You will see the item’s general sharing level below the link. To update the sharing level, just click it and select the new sharing level.
Click the access level to the right to select if people you haven’t added to direct sharing, as shown here, will be viewers, commenters, or editors.
If you set the sharing level that allows any user in the organization access by link, you also get access to one more setting.
