See All Files and Folders That Have Been Shared With You in Google Drive
View files and folders other people have shared with you.
You can allow others to edit and send a Google Forms file. Follow the steps below.
Alternatively, click here if you want to send a form for others to fill out.
Go to Google Drive at https://drive.google.com and double-click a form to open it in editing mode.
Click the three dots (More) icon next to the SEND button in the top right.
Then select Add collaborators.
Add anyone you want to add as an editor by typing their email address or name in the Add people and groups search bar.
People in your Contacts list at https://contacts.google.com get suggested automatically – in this case, you can click them to add them without typing their full email address.
You can’t add people as Commenters or Viewers here – you can only add Editors.
Type text into the Message box to add a note to the standard notification message.
When you’re ready, click the blue Send (or Share) button.
It will say Send if you’ve checked the Notify people box to send an email notification to let people know you’ve shared something with them. It changes to Share when the Notify people box is unchecked.
To send the form to have someone fill it out, click the SEND button in the top right when viewing it in editing mode.
Check the box Automatically collect respondent’s email address on top to see respondents’ email addresses.
Next to Send via, choose to send the form via Email, Link, or Embed it to a web page. You can also share it via Facebook or Twitter.
If you choose the Email option, make sure to check the Include form in email box.
-The Subject will be populated based on your form’s name by default.
-The default Message is always “I’ve invited you to fill out a form.” You can’t change the default message, but you can change the message each time you send the form.
If you choose to get a link to share the form, you can check the Shorten URL box to get a shorter link. Click Copy to copy the link.
If you want to embed the form to a website page, you can adjust the Width and Height. Then and click Copy to copy the embed code that you need to insert into your page.
View files and folders other people have shared with you.
Know when anonymous or unknown people are viewing your file.
Specify who can access a file or folder by default.
Stop editors from updating sharing levels and sharing with others. You can also prevent downloading, printing, and copying files.
Share a file for a limited time, then automatically remove access rights.
Grant access to one or more files or folders to other people, share by link and make items public.
Add collaborators or ask people to fill out a Google Form.
Make someone else the owner of your file or folder.
Remove someone’s access to files or folders.
