See All Files and Folders That Have Been Shared With You in Google Drive
View files and folders other people have shared with you.
Make sure not to move shared files as shown here, but rather create shortcuts, as shown below because:
You can create shortcuts to items in Shared with me in your My Drive section for easy access.
Go to Google Drive https://drive.google.com and click Shared with me on the left.
To create a shortcut, right-click an item in Shared with me and select Add shortcut to Drive.
Select the location where you want your shortcut to appear and click ADD SHORTCUT.
You can see which items are shortcuts by the little arrow icon that appears on their left.
Right-clicking the item displays options for the original file, as well as shortcut options.
View files and folders other people have shared with you.
Know when anonymous or unknown people are viewing your file.
Specify who can access a file or folder by default.
Stop editors from updating sharing levels and sharing with others. You can also prevent downloading, printing, and copying files.
Share a file for a limited time, then automatically remove access rights.
Grant access to one or more files or folders to other people, share by link and make items public.
Add collaborators or ask people to fill out a Google Form.
Make someone else the owner of your file or folder.
Remove someone’s access to files or folders.
