The Main Menu in Google Calendar (Left-Side Panel)
Show or hide the main menu on the left.
You can show or hide the right-side panel in Google Calendar, which gives you quick access to Keep, Tasks, Contacts, and Maps.
In Google Calendar at https://calendar.google.com, click the little arrow icon at the bottom right to show or hide the right-side panel.
The side panel contains five shortcuts – to Google Keep, Tasks, Contacts, Maps, and Add-Ons.
The first icon from top to bottom opens Google Keep.
Keep allows you to add notes and lists. You can also access it at https://keep.google.com.
The second icon opens Google Tasks.
As the name suggests, you can use it to add any task you need to complete and set reminders.
The third icon opens your Contacts.
You will see a list of your contacts here, or you can click the search icon to look for contacts.
Clicking a contact in the list shows contact details.
The fourth icon opens Google Maps.
Finally, the Get Add-ons icon takes you to the Google Workspace Marketplace.
Here, you will find Google Calendar Add-ons that you can add to your Calendar or to other users in your Google Workspace account as well if you’re an admin.
Show or hide the main menu on the left.
Change the color and positioning of the user interface elements.
Select if you want your calendar to show this day, this week, this month, or this year by default.
Color a calendar and all associated events.
Show or hide the right-side panel with compact versions of Google Keep, Tasks, Contacts, and Maps.
