  • After adding reminders, make sure that you are showing the Reminders calendar.
  • Under My calendars on the left, click Reminders so that it is checked.

In Google Calendar at, click a time slot on the calendar to start adding a new event. 

Then on top under the title field, select Reminder. Configure it and click Save.

Here is how reminders look when they pop up. They usually appear in the bottom right of your screen. 

You need to have Google Calendar open in Google Chrome for reminders to work.

Also, notifications must be allowed in your browser’s settings.

Click the lock pad icon to the left of the website’s address on top, and next to Notifications, select Allow.
