Configure Inbox Tabs in Gmail
Sort emails into general categories by displaying extra tabs.
Open Gmail https://gmail.com and click the Settings gear icon in the top right.
Select See all settings.
Select Filters and Blocked Addresses on top. Once you create filters, they will be listed here.
Click Create a new filter.
First, you have to set up the filter’s scope so that it only matches the emails you want to forward. Your filter will only work on whatever you specify here.
From: lets you specify sending email addresses.
To: lets you specify receiving email addresses.
Use the Subject field to look for something in the subject.
Has the words: looks for content in the email.
Doesn’t have: excludes emails with specific content from the search.
Size lets you search for emails of a specific size.
Check Has attachment to only look for emails with attachments.
By default, the filter applies to chat messages and emails. Check Don’t include chats to exclude chat messages.
Click Create filter at the bottom to go to the next step.
Check the Apply the label box and choose the label to apply or click New label and create a new label now.
If you want emails to bypass the Inbox and only appear under the label, you can check the Skip the Inbox (Archive it) box on top.
You can also check the Also apply filter to x matching conversation(s) at the bottom to apply the filter right away on emails that are presently in your mailbox.
Click Create filter.
Another way to set up a filter for messages from the same sender is to click More on top while viewing an email message, then select Filter messages like these.
Then click Create filter.
Check the Apply the label box and choose the label to apply or click New label and create a new label now.
If you want emails to bypass the Inbox and only appear under the label, you can check the Skip the Inbox (Archive it) box on top.
You can also check the Also apply filter to x matching conversation(s) at the bottom to apply the filter right away on emails that are presently in your mailbox.
Click Create filter.

Remove labels from your emails.
Make changes to labels.
Access and update all your labels.
Display or hide labels in third-party mailbox services where you check your mail using IMAP, like Outlook or Mac Mail.
