Gmail’s Main Menu
Show or hide text in the main menu on the left.
Open Gmail by going to https://gmail.com and click the little arrow icon at the bottom right to show or hide the right-side panel.
The side panel contains five shortcuts – to Google Calendar, Google Keep, Google Tasks, Google Contacts, and Add-ons.
The first one, from top to bottom, opens your Calendar.
You can view, create, edit and delete events on any of your calendars.
Click the three dots icon in the top right to change the view type or show/hide calendars.
The second icon from top to bottom opens Google Keep.
Keep allows you to add notes and lists. You can also access it at https://keep.google.com.
The third icon opens Google Tasks.
As the name suggests, you can use it to add any task you need to complete and set reminders.
The fourth icon opens your Contacts.
You will see a list of your contacts here, or you can click the search icon to look for contacts.
Clicking a contact in the list shows contact details.
Finally, the Get Add-ons icon takes you to the Google Workspace Marketplace.
Here, you will find Gmail Add-ons that you can add to your Gmail or other users in your Google Workspace account as well if you’re an admin.
